| 英文描述 | Avian pseudotuberculosis is a contagious disease of domesticated and wild birds. Caused by YERSINIA PSEUDOTUBERCULOSIS and characterized by acute septicemia followed by focal infection of caseous swellings and nodules. Lesions of acute infection are enteritis and swelling of the spleen. In chronic cases the lesions are enlarged liver, spleen, and lungs with yellowish white foci found in these organs as well as in the breast muscles. Diagnosis is by history and isolation of the organism. |
